Using this skill removes 1 Corruption effect from the enemy target. See Corruption Removal Skills for a list of all skills that remove Corruptions.

Using the skill while in 
Battle-readied will make this skill have a 5s cooldown instead of 15s.
Trait Interactions

Gift of Spirit in the Hands of Healing trait tree makes this skill apply a stack of Inspirited to the Captain, up to 5. - Specializing in the Lead the Charge trait tree makes this skill apply Lead the Charge to the target upon a critical hit.

Reversal in the Hands of Healing trait tree makes this skill apply Reversal Melee Damage to the Captain upon a critical hit.
Armour Set Interactions
Equipping 6 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Commander armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid makes 
To Arms (Blade-brother) reset the active cooldown of this skill.
Tactical Information
Cleanse Corruption is Captain's only corruption removal skill. If multiple corruptions need to be removed, this skill should only be used while in Battle-readied so as to reduce the cooldown.
